Your nomination must demonstrate: What makes you outstanding? What have you achieved? What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them? What motivates you to make a difference?
Best Hall Committee Best Hall Committee For a Hall Committee who have made a significant impact on its members through increased engagement, innovative events, campaigns and community action. Your nomination must demonstrate: What makes your Hall Committee stand out? What’s its impact? What challenges have you faced and how did you overcome them? How do you ensure your residents are satisfied?
Outstanding Regional or National Achievement Outstanding Regional or National Achievement For an individual, group or team which has achieved something as a result of their volunteering; for any single activity which has been recognised by others as excellent on a regional of national level. Your nomination must demonstrate: Why is this achievement outstanding? Why is it something which should be recognised as an extraordinary result? What challenges have you faced and how did you overcome them? What part did you and others play in achieving the result?
Outstanding Contribution to the Community Outstanding Contribution to the Community For an individual or group who has made an outstanding contribution via the local, national or international community through a project, event or relationship. Your nomination must demonstrate: Community impact / engagement How was it a success, and how did you work with the community to make it a success? What motivated you to make a difference?
Best Course Rep Best Course Rep For a pro-active Course Rep who has made significant improvements for students through effective communication, wider engagement and lobbying. Your application must demonstrate: How do you demonstrate innovative and effective communication with students? How have you made an impact in the student experience? How do you work with students, LSU and the university effectively?

Best new or improved student group Best new or improved student group Recognises a strong and pro-active committee that demonstrate their commitment to increasing and diversifying their membership and effectively promoting their group and its activities. Outstanding member of student staff Outstanding member of student staff For a Student Staff member who has shown dedication to improving services for students, by excelling in their role and supporting and motivating others.
